Hello, Jason Kelly, president of CUPE local 3909, would like to meet with members of the union in our department to discuss ongoing contract negotiations. The union includes TA's, Grader/Markers, Lab Demonstrators, Student Instructors, etc. The contract expired September 1, 2007 - these negotiations will have an impact on all grad students in our department who do any of these jobs (as in how much you are paid).

The meeting would occur over lunch hour and food would be provided by CUPE. If there is sufficient interest, I will schedule a time for the meeting and send further information to you all. Please email me if you would like to have this meeting.
