The School of Environmental Sciences (Ridgetown Campus) of the University of Guelph invites applications from outstanding candidates for a full-time, non-tenure tracked, Assistant Professor specializing in the area of bioresource management.This is a contractually limited position for a period of five years.Start date is negotiable, preferably not later than 1 September 2011.The successful candidate must hold aPh.D., and demonstrate potential to secure research funding, teach at an undergraduate and diploma level, and engage key stakeholders in extension activities.Applications are invited from any area of bioresource management, including, but not limited to: water resource management (hydrology, water quality); post harvest technology (biomass conversion); bioenergy; waste management; or environmental protection.
