The individual has reviewed their activities while on campus and utilized the Manitoba Government Contact Tracing Tool (https://manitoba.ca/asset_library/en/covid/covid-contact-tracing-tool.pdf). The case has identified and notified their close contacts. If you have not been notified that you are a close contact and you attended any of the above locations during the time period specified, you are advised to self-monitor for the next 14 days. If you develop any symptoms that could be due to COVID-19, immediately self-isolate and seek testing. For more information on self-monitoring after a public exposure, review this fact sheet: https://manitoba.ca/asset_library/en/covid/covid-self-monitoring-possible-pu....
All facets of the activity adhered to all UM and Provincial health and safety requirements and protocols. The spaces where the individual was present on campus have been appropriately cleaned and disinfected. All individuals in all UM indoor spaces are required to wear 3-ply reusable or disposable masks at all times.
It is more important than ever that individuals who attend work or any on-campus activities in person be fully vaccinated and strictly follow public health guidance including limiting close contacts outside of the home, practicing physical distancing, and staying home when sick, no matter how mild the symptoms. If you have symptoms that could be COVID-19, use the Online COVID-19 Screening Toolhttps://sharedhealthmb.ca/covid19/screening-tool/ to self-screen and get tested if that is what is recommended. Without the test there is no way to tell if the symptoms are from COVID-19 or another cause.
