Hi all, I hope you can help us to circulate this call for posters amongst your students and colleagues. We are looking for scientific and on-farm research that is relevant and practical for organic producers on any topic. Production topics related to grain, horticulture or livestock production, or economic or social science research topics are welcome - that furthers our knowledge base in organic.
Presenters can opt to present in-person or on-line. This hybrid event takes place on February 8, 2022, with the in-person location at the Keystone Centre in Brandon, MB. Presenters will be asked to prepare an abstract that which will be vetted for relevance to organic producers. If selected, successful presenters will prepare a short PowerPoint presentation on Methods, Results and Relevance to organic farming and present at the end of the conference sessions on Feb. 8. Earlier on that day, presenters will be asked to do a 2 min "Poster Pitch" to sell attendees on why they should show up to listen to the longer 10 min presentation.
Please note, that attendance at the in-person or the on-line event is completely free for students enrolled in the 2022 winter term at a Canadian College or University.
Submit abstracts by January 10, 2022 to prairieorganicconference@gmail.commailto:prairieorganicconference@gmail.com

Thanks for your help in getting the word out about this and happy Friday.
