Attention graduate student TA's, graders, markers, lab instructors, etc. etc. (anyone who is a member of the Canadian Union of Public Employees). Please see message below from Jason Kelly, the union local president.
It is important to send him the information he is requesting in order that the union properly represent the needs of the TA's (et al.) to the university administration (who sets your pay and hours).
So email him (don't email me). His address is below. Thanks, Simon.

Hey everyone
I am hoping that you can circulate this email to graduate students in your departments. CUPE is trying to put together a case for the University that we are currently not being paid enough hours to do the work that we do. It is common knowledge throughout the grad student community that we often spend much more time meeting with students, answering emails, marking papers/labs/tests, demonstrating labs, holding office hours, preparing for labs or teaching responsibilities, etc. As such, I would like graduate students to send me an email outlining how many hours they get paid relative to how many hours they actually put into being a TA/Grader Marker, etc.
Please send your emails to jdkelly79@gmail.com and feel free to contact me at any point.
