Canada’s agri-food system proved to be incredibly resilient during the pandemic and is already driving economic and social recovery. But there is enormous potential for the agri-food system to do more. Canada must have a plan to protect and invest in our agri-food systems so that it can be both economically beneficial and sustainable for the long term.
The next 4 years have the potential to be full of change for Canada’s agri-food system and partners in the system will need to come together to build a roadmap to help grow the competitiveness and sustainability of the agri-food industry.
For Canada to move forward and maintain a thriving, sustainable agri-food system, the right policies must be put in place, backed by strategic thinking, a systems approach, and supported by strong public-private partnerships and aspirational leadership.

A structural inspection of the building was made yesterday. There are issues with internal walls in the 007 lab. However, the building cannot be used for any work at this point. There will need to be some repair needed to interior walls.
You will be allowed to retrieve anything that is in the building for use or store other supplies in the building., however we are not to stay in the building for any period of time, nor have anyone work in the building.
After repairs are completed, the entire building will require a thorough cleaning to return it to a condition suitable for any prolonged work to be carried out.
We will keep you posted as to developments as they place and any changes in access to the building.
