Hello everyone,
Attached is the Fall 2021 Grad Office schedule to revise.
1. Talk with the other people in your office and figure out the schedule. Then send it back to me. Room occupancy limit is in the left-hand corner, so some rooms have increased.
1. Once the schedule is filled, I will get it approved and then will send an email that it has been confirmed.
1. Rule change: Office hours are flexible as long as the max number of people in the room is followed. Example: if it is technically "John's" office hours according to the schedule, but "Sarah" sees its open, she can use it (unless of course John comes in) if she is following the max # per room.
For new students who emailed me about an office, it is still being assigned and then we will get you on the schedule.
Thanks,
Sonia

Subject: Sweatlodge date.
All,
I have been in contact with Ed Azure and he has gratefully offered to lead a sweatlodge for the department. He has suggested a Saturday in September. If you are interested, please respond by Sept 15 th and let me know if September 18 or 25 is best. If there is a large enough response we may have to schedule two, so put down all of your preferences. Once I have your responses I will set it up with Ed.
Thank you,

Hello all,
This e-mail is a refresh of the COVID directives for students being on campus and our grad student spaces.
Grad lounge - please follow the yellow sheet maximum on the door and sign your name in on the sheet (on the table) if you enter the room. Wear your mask and remain 2 m away from others using the lounge.
Grad offices - We will be creating another schedule for fall grad offices as some office rooms have had an increase in occupancy limits. The schedule will be circulated on Monday so that students sharing offices can plan it out. You must respect the occupancy limit posted on your door, be 2 m away from each other wearing masks, and also signing in on the sheet posted on your door. There is some flexibility in office scheduling as long as you are following the occupancy limit - that will be for you and the people sharing your office to decide.
If you would like a grad office and have not requested one yet, please REQUEST ONE by emailing wilson44(a)myumanitoba.ca<mailto:wilson44@myumanitoba.ca>
If you have further questions, please send them to decastr4(a)myumanitoba.ca<mailto:decastr4@myumanitoba.ca>
Thank you and welcome to the Fall term!
